Hedgehog Interactive

The Product Management Game

I created Hedgehog Interactive in 2016 as a way to explore game-based solutions to workplace challenges. My first game was The Product Management Game: Higher Ed Edition, which I used to train IT staff on how the principles of product management can apply to higher education and IT service management. (I admit it’s a pretty niche market.)

Curse of the Help Desk

Next, I was approached about creating a game to train IT Help Desk consultants learn troubleshooting, listening, and communication skills. I collaborated with Caitlyn Faust to produce The Curse of the Help Desk, based entirely on true, yet absurd service desk cases.

Road Trip: A Project Management Game

My third project was Road Trip: A Project Management Game, in collaboration with Matthew Belskie. This board game is designed to be integrated in a 4-hour workshop on project management. Using a cross-country road trip as our “project,” players learn about the project management triangle and explore risk management, resource management, time management. What could go wrong?
